Jeff Lechtaler grew up fishing Northern California rivers and learned to guide working the deck for his uncle, longtime guide John Nelson. Today he runs trips for king salmon and striped bass across the Sacramento River, the Feather River, the Delta, and the Bays, and serves on the pro staff for Kittles Outdoor Sport & Co.
Jeff fishes alongside his son Danny, who begins guiding in 2027, and his daughter Maci, who has been Jeff's deckhand all her life.

Maci grew up fishing and hunting beside her dad on the Sacramento River, the Feather River, the Delta, and the Bays. She has been his deckhand her whole life, on every king salmon and striped bass trip the family runs.
