The morning bite was absolute fire today

Took Dave and his son out at sunrise, and we found the rainbows near the south cove. We landed a couple of absolute tanks before 10 AM along the deep drop-offs. If you want to get on the water and pull in fish like these, text or give me a call!

Jeff is a USCG licensed captain who started as a deckhand for his uncle, longtime guide John Nelson. He guides for king salmon and striped bass in Northern California.

Guide

Danny grew up fishing and hunting with his dad on the Sacramento River, the Feather River, the Delta, and the Bays. He starts guiding those same waters in 2027.
Maci Lechtaler

Deckhand

Maci grew up fishing and hunting with her dad on these same waters. She has been his deckhand her whole life, on the king salmon and striped bass trips.

Why fish with us

What you get on the boat

Rods, tackle, and bait on the boat

We bring the rods, reels, tackle, and bait. You bring your California fishing license, food and drinks, sun protection, and a cooler for your fish.

Your catch cleaned and bagged

We clean, fillet, and bag your fish at the dock so they are ready for the cooler.

First-timers and kids welcome

We set the gear, coach you through the bite, and help at the net. You do not need prior fishing experience.

Three generations of our family have fished the Sacramento and Feather Rivers.
